Africa IPM Alliance is a research and training organization whose head offices are in Ruiru Kenya. We promote integrated pest management and other sustainable development interventions in order to improve livelihoods by linking local priorities to global challenges. We work with different partners including local and vulnerable communities to strengthen their economic, social and environmental wellbeing. In Kenya we are working with communities in twelve counties.

Programs
To achieve the above mission AIA engages in various programs as follows
- On farm research programs in collaboration with different partners
- Capacity development program – We are involved in organizing training courses on different sustainable development topical issues like Integrated pest management and food security, Organizational development, Sustainable seed production and Resource Mobilization
- Sustainable Agro forestry program Where we have established tree nurseries in different parts of the country
