Africa IPM Alliance is a research and training organization whose head offices are in Ruiru, Kenya. We promote integrated pest management and other sustainable development interventions in order to improve livelihoods by linking local priorities to global challenges. We work with different partners including local and vulnerable communities to strengthen their economic, social, and environmental wellbeing. In Kenya, we are working with communities in twelve counties.

To achieve the above mission, AIA engages in various programs as follows

• On-farm research programs in collaboration with different partners
• Capacity development program – organizing training courses on different sustainable development topical issues such as Integrated Pest Management and Food Security, Organizational Development, Sustainable Seed Production, and Resource Mobilization
• Sustainable Agroforestry program – establishing tree nurseries in different parts of the country
