Jackline Waithera Njeri is a dedicated agricultural professional with extensive experience in organic farming, project management, stakeholder engagement, and market development. She has a strong background in training farmers on organic farming practices, certification standards, and compliance with international regulations such as EU, JAS, NOP, and EAOP. Her expertise in organizing and managing farmer groups has been instrumental in facilitating certification through the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS), ensuring adherence to organic farming principles. Currently serving as the Murang’a County Coordinator at the Kenya Organic Agriculture Network (KOAN), Jackline plays a key role in liaising with NGOs, government agencies, and private sector players to promote sustainable agricultural initiatives. She provides advisory services on pest and disease management, organic inputs, and crop diversification while monitoring project progress and evaluating impact. Her leadership in capacity-building programs has significantly contributed to the adoption of organic farming practices among local communities. Jackline holds a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management from JKUAT, alongside certifications in Project Planning and Management, Organic Production Systems, and Participatory Market Chain Approach (PMCA) facilitation. She is fluent in English, Kiswahili, and a local dialect, leveraging her communication and networking skills to drive the growth of organic agriculture in Kenya.
